Congratulations! Pregnancy is an amazing time of transformation, and offers a wonderful opportunity for you to achieve optimal wellness, as you prepare to welcome baby. Cleveland Natural Birth offers a thoughtfully curated array of prenatal wellness classes, to help you navigate pregnancy and stay balanced during this exciting time of transition. Our workshops draw from the Birth Boot Camp childbirth education curriculum, Lamaze’s 6 Healthy Birth Principles, Evidence Based Birth® resources, coupled with personalized mentorship. The following workshops are intentionally designed to help you meet your healthy pregnancy and birth goals.
Evidence Based Birth® Savvy Birth 101
Are you excited about welcoming your baby, but worried that, as a patient, your voice won’t be heard in the busy hospital system?
Do not stress, the Savvy Birth 101 workshop is just what you need! This 1-hour class will give you inside information on how to form the ultimate birth team, so when it comes time for labor, you can find yourself at the center of respectful maternity care. ($12-$25)

Nutrition + Exercise Program
This Food and Fitness workshop from Birth Boot Camp provides a rich foundation, so expectant mothers can remain healthy and strong during the entire childbearing year. The program offers a wealth of nutritional information, discusses pelvic floor health, demonstrates beneficial prenatal and postpartum exercises, introduces chiropractic, answers several pregnancy ‘FAQs’, and discusses the concept of mindfulness and relaxation. You will leave this program with a greater sense of self-reliance, as you journey to achieve optimal wellness for both you and baby. 3 hrs, $85 Preview the Food and Fitness student workbook.

Mindfulness + Relaxation
Training your heart and mind for natural birth is just as important as preparing your body. Regularly engaging in a prenatal mindfulness practice can help reduce fear and anxiety, facilitate an easier and more satisfying birth experience, and may help reduce the risk of developing a perinatal mood disorder. This workshop covers various relaxation exercises, and showcases a few different mindfulness techniques, including visualization exercises, touch relaxation and progressive relaxation. Families also receive a relaxation and visualization exercise book and additional resources to continue their practice at home.. 2.5 hrs of bliss! $75
